So the average person goes right along, trusting those who are supposed to be in a position of special knowledge. With the best of motives, wanting to do the very best for their pet, people think they are achieving the best pet food by feeding a "complete" diet meal after meal. They assume there is all this high tech science going on in veterinary and nutrition schools, and in laboratories at pet food manufacturers.
That's a lot of trust being handed over to companies that profit from their advice that you feed only their food meal after meal. It's also a lot of trust granted to nutritionists and veterinarians who not only do not have complete knowledge of nutrition, but get much of their information from the pet food industry.
No, there is no mystery to achieving the best pet food. There is no pet food rocket science other than that used to convert things an animal would never eat in the wild into something that looks like a miniature porkchop. There is no need to tally percentages on bags. There is no reason to rely on experts.
You and your common sense are the best source of health for your pet.
