In my book, The Truth About Pet Foods, the following poetic verse is written:
Our pets are reminders of the quiet strength and dignity
of unfettered creation
Retaining gifts we have lost or never had
Masters of life in the moment and the art of simplicity
Reflections of a world forgotten,
presynthetic, more complete
Where loyalty, love, forgiveness, acceptance, fun and truth
are neither measured nor withheld
Deserving of our wonder, respect and love -
and the health that can only come from nature obeyed
Pets are an expression of love, from them to us, and us to them. The best way to express that love is to care for them and provide the best pet food so they can live a long and healthy life?
To do that requires a little thought, nothing difficult mind you, but more than just doing what is convenient and packaged. The payback - health - is the ultimate reward. With it all things are possible, without it nothing is.
Video: 700 cats
For all animal lovers, the above video is sort of like paradise. Reflect on and share this woman's love for animals.
Thought for the day: "You can say any foolish thing to a dog and the dog will give you a look that says, 'My God, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'" – Dave Barry
Word for the day: archetype - noun: 1. the original pattern or model of which all things of the same type are representations or copies 2. a transcendent entity that is a real pattern of which existing things are imperfect representations 3. a standard of perfection / Meat is the archetypal food of carnivores. / Living as nature intended is the archetype that promises optimal health.
